County will purchase mobility scooter for E911 director

The Sunflower County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Monday to purchase a mobility scooter and ramp for E911 Director John Thompson.
Thompson had formally requested the accommodations to continue performing his duties after losing mobility in his right leg.

MDCC Law Enforcement Training Academy graduates 22

On June 26, Mississippi Delta Community College (MDCC) held its Law Enforcement Training Academy (LETA) Commencement in the J.T. Hall Coliseum on the Moorhead campus. During the ceremony, the 22 cadets of Class 25-B80 became law enforcement officers.
