A Mississippi Delta Community College football player died from medical complications after a game last Thursday, the college announced Friday.
Emanuell Cooks of Elba, Alabama, was a freshman offensive lineman who played in the game against Hinds Community College in Raymond. The college’s statement did not specify Cooks’ cause of death.
