Mid-Delta Arts Association will open “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” on Tuesday, November 19 at 7 pm at the Brindley Theater in Indianola.
Kathryn Ledbetter and Valarie Morgan are directing the Christmas comedy with a cast of 35. It is not your usual Christmas pageant, at least not this year when the rambunctious Herdman children decide they are going to be in the church play. Playing the “invaders” are Samuel Patterson, Brenleigh Hunt, Isaiah Morgan, Levi Morgan, Ann Ledbetter and Caiden Worley.
Matthew Morgan and Heather Skaggs will portray the Father and Mother and other children in the show include, Sallie Kate Ledbetter, Jones Skaggs, Sarah Hendon, Audrey Jenkins, Madelyn Rives, Kathryn Cobb and Caroline Pannel.
Anna Joy Skaggs will play the baby angel and the Angel Choir is composed of Lilyanne White, Peyton Andrews, Addison Burke, Makensie Smith, Sarah Gayden Walker, Vivian Baird and Nora Pannel.
Other children in “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” are Hayes Barrier, Will Jenkins, Nicholas Patterson and Jeremiah Morgan.
Rounding out the cast of adults are Carla Jenkins, Katie Patterson, Anna Mitchell, Eddie Donahoe, Bill Alford and Guy Burke.
“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” will be presented November 19, 21, 22 and 23 at 7 pm and November 24 at 2 pm. For tickets go the Mid-Delta Arts website www.mid-deltaarts.org and go by The Crown in Indianola.
