Services for Bessie Williams of Indianola will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Persimmon Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Sunflower.
Ms. Williams, 84, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Byas Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Gardens.
The Rev. Terry Cobbs will officiate at the services.
Ms. Williams is survived by seven daughters, Gloria Brown, Doreatha Brown, Helen Williams and Diane Griffin, all of Indianola, and Sarah Hines, Bessie Beard and Katherine Griffin, all of Memphis; three brothers, Eddie Brown of Mobile, Ala., Rather Williams of Indianola and Steven Williams of Tacoma, Wash.; two sisters, Emma Golden of Chicago and Bobbie Johns of Ruleville; 32 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
