Grady Anderson, 89, of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019 at Jackson Veterans Home in Jackson.
Grady was born Nov. 22, 1929 in Sunflower to Frank and Cordia Upchurch Anderson. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran. After serving his country, Grady worked as an architect for Lewis Grocery and Supervalu until his retirement. He was a loving father and grandfather. Grady loved the time he spent serving his country.
Grady was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Earl Anderson, Bill Anderson, and Paul Anderson; and two sisters, Leona Anderson Cook and Eunice Anderson Haley.
He is survived by one daughter, Amanda Gray Anderson; one brother, Don Anderson; two sisters, Alma Anderson Lambre and Mary Anderson Hayes; and two grandchildren, Skylar and Savanna Wiltshire.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019 from 12 p.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola.
