Wallace Arnold Vance, 63, of Indianola, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Wallace was born Aug. 3, 1955 in Indianola to Thomas George and Eva Keith Vance. He was a lifelong resident of Indianola. Wallace worked as a transport driver for Gresham Petroleum Company for 40 years. He was a member of Moorhead Baptist Church in Moorhead.
Wallace was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Faye Holmes Vance of Indianola; daughter, Kristie Vance Montesi and her husband Josh of Indianola; son, Linzie Vance and his wife Karen of Indianola; five brothers, Gerald Vance and his wife Carol, Ed Vance and his wife Sue, Dooley Vance, Larry Vance and his wife Sandra, and Willard Vance and his wife Charlotte; one sister, Carolyn Abney; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018 from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service at Moorhead Baptist Church, 801 Olive Street, Moorhead, MS 38761. Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
