Fox News had Rush Limbaugh on last week to discuss the Support Betsy Ross tee shirts.
Rush had designed and marketed this tee shirt after Nike had pulled their sneakers that had Betsy Ross’ flag on the heel.
He said that somebody had to push back against the anti-Americanism that is sweeping the country, especially among progressives, and this was his effort.
Rush thinks that the American people are fed up with progressives proclaiming daily that America is a terrible place that was founded for the wrong reasons.
The current batch of Democratic candidates for president have little or nothing good to say about this country, and he thinks that it is time to push back against these people. So far, according to Limbaugh, he has sold over 100,000 tee shirts and given $2 million to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Limbaugh may be onto something. Americans are fed up with hearing our great country badmouthed every day by the likes of Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib, known as the Squad. But they are not the only Democrats running down our country.
During the last debate, every single candidate raised their hands when asked if illegal aliens should be given health insurance.
Everyone raised their hands when asked if illegally crossing the border should be made a misdemeanor rather than a criminal offense. Everyone wants Medicare for all, free college tuition - every socialistic program conceived by the human mind.
America is not a socialist country. Most of us recognize how far this country would fall should socialism become the new economic policy. We have seen socialism implemented in other countries, and we know what happens. As soon as all of the money is spent, then some strong man takes over and runs the country. Anyone opposed to his dictates dies, and soon, the people are eating their pets, exactly what is happening in Venezuela. The old Soviet Union is another example, and things eventually got so bad that the country collapsed, but not before millions of its citizens were murdered.
I am tired of Democrats promising things that they know they cannot deliver. Reparations for slavery is an example. Medicare for all, free college tuition, open borders, and a socialist utopia. These are all fantasies told to buy votes from those who haven’t yet figured out what is going on.
I’m tired of CNN and MSNBC badmouthing our president twenty-four hours a day. I am tired of the lies that these outlets tell and expect normal, rational Americans to believe. I am tired of Democrats demanding that I pay more in taxes to support illegal aliens. I am sick and tired of Democrats telling me that I cannot make a living because what I do causes global warming. I am more than tired of being called a racist if I disagree with a progressive. But I am also tired of Chris Wallace who works for Fox News. His father was Mike Wallace, one of the most abrasive news people to ever work for CBS. Chris is apparently trying to be like dad, and insult every conservative who appears on his show. Last Sunday, he interviewed Stephen Miller, an adviser to the President. If I had taken the fire that this young man took from Wallace, I would have walked off the set. Conservatives don’t need Chris Wallace. He is a New York liberal who apparently is still trying to please his deceased father, and doing an outstanding job.
I am, also, tired of colleges telling me what words I can use that don’t offend people. Colorado State University has developed an “Inclusive Language Guide.” Words that are deemed offensive and should not be used are: handicapped parking, male and female, straight, normal person, war, cake walk, Eskimo, freshman, hold down the fort, starving and policeman. The list goes on.
Just because we have some nut jobs who have gone absolutely crazy, that does not mean that I have to follow suit. Many years ago, the University of Chicago estimated that 40% of the population could not adequately care for themselves. For years, I disputed that number. But after seeing what’s going on in our society today, I am about to become a believer.
Americans are tired of people running this country down, and the progressives, socialists, communists, and other groups who hate this country, will soon find this out. It may already be happening.
