Lady Rebels fall to Lee Academy

With a week layoff to get football season started, the Lady Rebel softball team hosted Lee Academy (Arkansas) but fell 11-2 in the Tuesday matchup. In 17 at bats, the Lady Rebels could only muster two runs off of five hits with two RBIs and one walk. But as a team there were only two strikeouts.

IA softball outlasts Kirk 15-12 for first district win

For the Indianola Academy Lady Colonels fastpitch softball team earned their first District 1-4A victory of the young season this past Tuesday evening at Chism Park.

Trojan great Hobbs hired as MDCC softball coach

Mississippi Delta Community College alumnus and Delta State University graduate Tre Hobbs has been selected to lead the Lady Trojan softball team. Before taking the head coaching job, Hobbs spent the 2022-2023 season as the assistant softball coach at Coahoma Community College, where he served as the pitching and outfield coach.
