IA Colonels ready for 2026 baseball season

The ping of baseball bats has been signaling the return of a new season for the Indianola Academy Colonels.
Scheduled to have opened their 2026 campaign this past Wednesday at Washington School, a very young IA squad is bent on improving the 8-19 record earned last spring.

Lady Colonels keeping basketball season alive

Although the Indianola Academy Colonels have seen their basketball season come to an end, the Lady Colonels were still fighting to stay alive Wednesday night.
Competing in the North 2A State Tournament hosted by Canton Academy, the Lady Colonels took their 5-11 record into their game against Newton Academy of Decatur.

Gentry High teams close regular season ahead of region tournament

IA basketball prepares for busy week of district play

With only five regular season basketball games remaining on their schedule, action continues today for the Indianola Academy Lady Colonels and Colonels.
Today’s competition begins at 6 p.m. and will find cross-county foe North Sunflower Academy coming to the IA gym for their District 1-2A bout with the IA squads.
