Edwards kicks off Aug. 30

Next Friday, August 30, the Thomas Edwards High Tigers of Ruleville will officially open their 2024 season on their home field.
With the Red Panthers of Coahoma County High School invading the Tigers’ turf, the goal will be to use the Clarksdale-based school to jumpstart improving upon the 2-7 record earned last season.

Brown joins the Tigers with two high school championship rings under his belt. He is the son of Chrisanna Moore and Dr. Adrian Brown of Indianola

New coach, returning players look to return Rams to the playoffs

A new Gentry High football season is fast approaching, and changes and goals are the word of the day.
Historically, last year the Gentry High Rams football team posted a 6-6 record, a campaign which included a first-round playoff loss to eventual 5A state champion West Point High School.
