The Lady Trojans of Mississippi Delta Community College made it to the post season in 2022-23. With an overall record of 16-11 and 7-7 in MACCC North action, Head Coach Tangela Banks has a balanced roster and is looking to turn up the heat on defense.

Confidence remains high for Southern Miss despite 60-54 loss to Mississippi State

A late second-half surge by Mississippi State was the difference in Southern Miss' 60-54 loss to the Bulldogs. Yet the Golden Eagles showed that they are more than capable of being a postseason team again after going head to head with a team fresh off an appearance in the NCAA tournament.

It is late October and postseason competition will begin tonight for the North Sunflower Academy Rebels football team.
Taking a long drive today to Bens Ford Christian School in Bogalusa, Louisiana, the 4-5 Rebels begin round one of the 2A State Playoffs against the 6-2 Eagles.
