IA to play Saturday soccer match

A rare Saturday soccer match is just ahead for the Indianola Academy Lady Colonels.
For at 11 a.m. tomorrow, the IA squad will play host to Greenville St. Joseph High School in a North Division III match-up.

Rebels welcome Thunderbirds to town for big game

It is not getting any easier for the North Sunflower Academy Rebels football team.
With Homecoming being celebrated at their school today at 7 p.m., the 1-3 Rebels will play host to a strong 4-0 DeSoto School Thunderbirds squad from West Helena, Arkansas.

Tigers in hunt for first victory of the season

Back in 1925 Ruleville High School played Greenville High in a football game and the Sunflower County team prevailed by a 6-0 score.
Fast forward to 2019 and the now Thomas Edwards High team from Ruleville played Greenville High and lost by a 49-8 margin.
