The North Sunflower Academy Rebels’ bats came to life in a pair of recent wins.
The Rebels played Strider Academy in a district double header, winning the first game 11-3 and the second contest 27-2.
In game one, Patrick Boykin led NSA in hits and power with a three-run home run. He finished the game with those 3 RBI.
Bo Dawson and Stephen Chamblee had an RBI each, and Bennett Boykin drove in two of his own.
Jacob Henley took the mound for NSA and walked away with the victory.
In game two, the bats got even louder for NSA, when they put up 27 runs against Strider.
This time it was Chamblee’s turn to show off some power with a three-run home run of his own. He would drive in five runs on the night.
Austen Redwine, Chandler Hayes, Jacolby Brown, Kalean Morris, Henley and Dawson had 3 RBI each.
Dawson was also the winning pitcher on the mound.
This gives the Rebels a 4-6 record in district, as they get set to play the last game of the regular season at Deer Creek tonight, another district matchup for NSA.
