The Mississippi Delta Community College Trojan football team will look to get into the win column tonight against Jones County Junior College.
They will head to Ellisville with a pair of Sunflower County natives on the roster, both sophomores for the Moorehead-based team.
The Trojan roster includes former Gentry High School player Marquvius Kirkham, a 5-foot-8, 225-pound running back.
Also on the team is Drew native and Ruleville Central graduate Anfernee Pointer, a 6-foot-3, 285-pound offensive lineman.
Both MDCC and Jones are coming off opening week losses, with the Trojans falling to Copiah-Lincoln in the first game of the season 31-6 and Jones dropping the opening week match with East Mississippi Community College by a score of 47-34.
