Riding a four game win streak, the 14-5, 4-0 Gentry High Rams will face additional all-important home-court action this next week.
Hoping to pick up another Region 3-4A victory this Friday night, the Rams will take on a visiting Yazoo City High School squad while next Tuesday will bring Ray Brooks High School of Benoit to the Gentry High gym for a non-regional match-up.
Both games are scheduled to tip-off at 7 p.m.
In their most recent action this past Tuesday night, the Rams sent the Clarksdale High School Wildcats back home with a 74-54 loss.
Leading the scoring for the Rams in this contest with a 24 point performance was Darrius Clark while Robert Bell finished with a 13 point, 10 rebound double double night of play.
Also reaching double figure scoring with 14 points was Shamarvious Hodges.
Other action last Friday saw the Rams earn a 72-51 regional victory over the Greenwood High Bulldogs.
It was Bell’s strong 27 point game which paced the scoring for Gentry High this night, while Clark finished with 15 points.
Recording his first varsity double digit scoring game was Deandre Brisco as the freshman dropped 10 points through the basket.
