Public Works Director Elvis Pernell has contacted and met with a contractor about the ongoing situation with the pipe drainage near South Sunflower County Hospital.
The pipe behind Double Quick on Catchings Avenue, may be 20 feet deep, Pernell told the Indianola board of aldermen last Thursday night, and needs to be replaced.
