Schedule makers in the Mississippi Association of Community & Junior Colleges (MACJC) hopefully bought stock in pencil and eraser companies. Upon their decision to create a schedule and play this fall, the schedule has been wreaked with COVID-19 cancellations and postponements.

The Mississippi Delta Community College Trojan football team finally got to play, albeit in the middle of a Friday afternoon. Despite a COVID infected football schedule that has canceled and postponed games and a Hurricane named Delta, the Trojans took on Northeast Community College to open the season.

The North Sunflower Academy Lady Rebels recognized three seniors who played their last regular season game on Tuesday. The recognition was held on Monday due to threat of severe weather this week. Seniors honored as NSA readies for tourney

In climbing the ladder of success, the North Sunflower Academy Lady Rebels softball team still has a few rungs to master. The final two season games were losses but were games the ladies had in their grasp. On Monday, they hosted St. Joe and lost a heartbreaker, 6-4.
