NSA softball to host St. Joe next week as regular season nears end

The losses have been tough but educational this season for the North Sunflower Academy Lady Rebels softball team.
On Monday the team lost the first of two road games against Humphreys Academy 10-0 and added another loss at Calhoun Academy, 12-2, on Tuesday.

NSA softball in home stretch

A weeklong break between games put the North Sunflower Lady Rebel softball team out of sync.
This past Tuesday they lost on the road to DeSoto Academy, 12-2. It wasn’t errors that put them in a hole early but some tough pitching that put a lot of runners on base early and often.

North Sunflower softball team picks up another win

After getting a taste of winning, the North Sunflower Academy Lady Rebel softball team has picked up another. A district win, 14-9 over Delta Academy last Tuesday. The winning has sparked a hitting spree for NSA.

NSA softball still looking to get over the hump early on

Lady Rebel players continue to hit the field and play hard but just haven’t found a way to get over the hump and pick up a win. Head Coach George Roberson remains optimistic and knows with a little luck, their win/loss record would have a different look.
