Final vote numbers were coming in right as the Thursday paper went to press, but it appears incumbent Mayor Steve Rosenthal and one of his challengers will head to a runoff.
Final affidavit ballot totals, which were counted the morning after the Oct. 10 election, show Rosenthal carrying around 49.4 percent of the vote.
This is short of the 50 percent, plus one vote needed to take the elction outright.
Jenkins has 39.3 percent of the vote, and Mario Robinson has 11.2 percent.
Meanwhile, it appears the aldermen races in the city have been decided ahead of the Dec. 12 general election.
