Rams rally from 13 down to win 16-15

It was a week of baseball which saw the Gentry High Rams claim a pair of unlikely come-from-behind victories.
They scored 39 runs in the process.
The week’s play began last Friday with the Rams overcoming a 7-0 first inning deficit before defeating the visiting Thomas Edwards High Tigers of Ruleville by a 23-13 margin.

IA will host Winona next week

There is now barely two weeks remaining on the Indianola Academy Colonels’ regular season baseball schedule.
However, the Colonels are thick in the hunt to earn a high-seed playoff berth.
Owning a 10-6, 5-2 record, next Tuesday will find the Colonels on their home field to play Winona Christian School.

This past week’s action saw the 3-7, 0-4 Rams drop three games — a cluster of contests which included a Region 3-4A doubleheader (12-0, 16-1) road loss to Senatobia on Tuesday.
