Ryan Roberson Memorial Baseball Game Aug. 17

The third annual Ryan Roberson Memorial Baseball Game will be played on Saturday, Aug. 17 this year. Start time is 9 a.m. at the Indianola Academy baseball field. Donations go toward the Ryan Roberson Memorial Scholarship and the Indianola Youth Baseball League. Concessions will be available.

Holloway tournament going strong at 51 years

June was another hot month on and off the golf course. This past June 29-30, Indianola Country Club hosted 32 two-man teams that braved the summer heat for the Lion Buster Holloway 51st Annual Men’s Invitational Golf Tournament.

Lady Colonels clinch first W over visiting Lee

For a 12-11 win Monday evening was earned in the Lady Colonels’ District 1-4A opener.

IA soccer bests Lee 6-1

A challenging day of soccer is just ahead for the Indianola Academy Lady Colonels.
With their first victory of the season to their credit, a 6-1 Wednesday decision over visiting Lee Academy of Clarksdale, the 1-1 Lady Colonels travel to Brookhaven Academy this Saturday for tournament play.
