Rams complete 2024 gridiron campaign

One final home game turned into one final loss for the 2024 Gentry High Rams football team. Closing out the season last Friday night on their home field, the Rams dropped an 18-6 regional decision to the visiting Hornets of Greenville High School. In a very physical game, the Rams and the Hornets battled to a 6-6 first half deadlock.

Cross-county split:Gentry girls, Edwards boys win first bouts

The first night of playing basketball at home became highly successful for the Gentry High School varsity squads. While this past Tuesday’s action saw the Lady Rams basketball team stretch its current win streak to three games, the Rams took advantage of their home court to earn their first victory of the young season.

Lady Trojans start season

The Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojans have reloaded the roster and are gearing up for the MACCC season. Head Coach Tangela Banks sent plenty of sophomores to the next level of play and is looking to “coach up” this year’s team and to challenge the other 14 members of the MACCC.
