Another tough week in the MACCC as the Trojans (1-6 overall and 0-3 MACCC) traveled to Goodman for a tangle with the #8 nationally ranked Holmes Community College Bulldogs (7-0 overall and 3-0 MACCC.) The Trojans didn't have enough in their arsenal and early mistakes and strange penalties doomed them to loss number six on the season.

NSA to face Newton: Rebels gear up for final home game of the regular season

Tonight’s final home game of the season will bring a strong opponent to the North Sunflower Academy campus.
Making the trip today from Decatur to Drew for a District 2-2A matchup will be the 6-2, 1-1 Generals of Newton County Academy.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Rams look to regroup in Yazoo

Competition with playoff ramifications has now arrived for the Gentry High School Rams football team.
With only Region 2-5A contests now populating the balance of the 1-5 Rams’ schedule, the first of five consecutive regional games begins at 7 p.m. today at Yazoo City High School.
