Lady Trojans building for 2024 season

The 2023 season wrapped up for the Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojans softball team. With only two wins, MDCC coaches are hard at work crafting the team for next season. Head Coach Oliva Burns, in her first season, will be on the recruiting trail all summer looking to build for the future.

MDCC baseball season ends with losses against Meridian

In a season that could have been, the Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans overall record saw 13 wins, 30 losses and one tie. The final weekend of the season saw the Trojans fall to Meridian last Friday, 13-6 and 5-4. The Trojans conference record was 9-19, tied for 12th place with Copiah-Lincoln.

NFL draft party needs a reboot

It’s been going on for 80 years – the NFL Draft. The latest “Draft Party” was held in Kansas City, Kansas – home of the latest Super Bowl winner, the Kansas City Chiefs. There was hoopla, there was hype, there were boys to millionaire men. Yeah, I’m over it.
