IA soccer opens playoffs with huge upset victory over Regents School

It was a great Monday evening in Oxford for the Indianola Academy Lady Colonels soccer team.
For in their opening match of the Division III State Playoffs, the Lady Colonels earned an exciting 2-1 upset victory over Regents School of Oxford, the top seed from Division III-East.

Colonels head to Washington

With a gnawing hunger for a football victory, it will be a very familiar opponent serving as the Indianola Academy Colonels’ competition tonight.
Taking a trip to Greenville, today’s 7 p.m. kickoff will find the 2-5, 2-0 Colonels serving as Washington School’s Homecoming visitor while they take on the 3-4 Generals.

IA softball makes huge run: Lady Colonels surge in playoffs, fall at state

An inspired run through the 4A State Playoffs came to an end last Saturday for the Indianola Academy Lady Colonels softball team.
Becoming the first IA softball team to reach state playoff competition since the 2009 season, the Lady Colonels traveled to Magee for their shot at the state title.

Tigers hoping to claw to win over Humphreys in final home game after homecoming loss

The first half of the Homecoming game at Thomas Edwards High School last Friday night was all one could ask it to be.
However, the second half of the contest thoroughly belonged to the Panthers of Amanda Elzy High as the Edwards High Tigers saw a 22-14 halftime lead disappear in the third quarter of the game.
