MDCC softball tuning up for MACCC action

Gadsden State Community College is the opponent for the Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojans softball team at Northwest Community College on Friday. Then the MACCC season begins as Southwest comes to Moorhead on Saturday, March 7, for a 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. doubleheader.

MDCC baseball finds offense

With a preseason record of 4-8, the Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans are fine-tuning their skills and had an offensive explosion to close out February.
Taking on the College of DuPage in a doubleheader, the team lost 12-1 in Game 1 but outpaced DuPage 23-13 in Game 2.

Tigers Dancing in Jackson for State Title

With a 42-34 sweet revenge win over Coahoma County, the Thomas E. Edwards High School Tigers have advanced to the state finals in Jackson. Head Coach Anthony Davis’s team will take on Quitman County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday night at the Mississippi Coliseum.
